Solana.Stream is a live restreaming platform on the Solana blockchain.

Solana.Stream restreams from platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and Kick, while providing creators with Web3 features such as crypto tips and subscriptions. Our goal is to help creators earn more from their work and give fans meaningful ways to show their support.

Why We Request Google Data

When you connect Google / YouTube, we may ask for certain information. Here is what we request and why:

We do not use Google user data to sell ads, train unrelated AI models, or share with unauthorized third parties. You can disconnect YouTube at any time in settings; related tokens and cached channel data are removed.

Stream Key & Token Handling

YouTube live ingestion credentials (RTMP URL and stream key) are used only to attach a Livepeer multistream destination for that creator.

Storage: OAuth access/refresh tokens are stored on the creator's server-side account record. The YouTube destination URL (which includes the stream key) is stored in a restricted server-side secrets document and configured on Livepeer as that creator's multistream target.

Access: Only authenticated backend services acting for that creator can fetch or use these secrets. Public APIs and the creator UI return a masked destination (stream key redacted). Viewers and other users never receive the stream key.

Encryption: All traffic uses HTTPS/TLS. Secrets are stored in Google Cloud Firestore with provider encryption at rest.
•
Deletion: Disconnecting YouTube nulls the YouTube account tokens, removes the Livepeer YouTube multistream target, and deletes the stored YouTube restream secret for that creator.
•
No resale: Stream keys and Google user data are not sold, used for ads, or shared with unauthorized third parties.

Your privacy and security are fundamental to our platform. We implement comprehensive measures to protect your data and ensure transparency in all our practices.

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS; secrets are stored with cloud encryption at rest.

We only request the minimum data needed for functionality.

YouTube stream keys are never shown in full in the creator UI or to viewers.
Your Rights

We do not sell or share your personal data with unauthorized third parties.

You can disconnect YouTube at any time; tokens, restream destination, and related YouTube data are removed.
